Is ModVex really free?
Yes. The whole app including exports is free and ad-free.
Do I need to install anything or sign up?
No. ModVex runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on computers and tablets and needs no account.
Is it a SketchUp replacement?
ModVex follows the same idea as the original free SketchUp: draw faces and pull them into 3D. It can’t open .skp files but imports OBJ.
How do I prepare a model for 3D printing?
Use Export → STL. Sizes are saved in millimetres with Z pointing up, as slicers expect.
Where are my models stored?
Without an account only in your browser and in the file you download. With an account also in the cloud on our server, so you can open them on any computer.
How does payment work?
By card through the VÚB bank payment gateway. You pay once for a month or a year, nothing is charged automatically and the invoice is in your account.
Can I create a floor plan or a bill of quantities?
Yes. Export → Floor plan (SVG) creates a scaled drawing from above and Bill of quantities (CSV) lists sizes, areas and volumes for Excel.
Which languages does the app speak?
Slovak, Czech, English and German. Switch the language at the top right.
